The Golf Channel hit a hole in one with the revitalization of part of its Orlando campus. The channel turned to Walker Design LLC to create a high-functioning, multi-use space within a 1,200-square-foot area. The space holds conference and training areas plus a genius bar. It has fully integrated audio/visual technology, integrated writable surfaces for informal gatherings and multiple movable seating options that can house 150 occupants. The floor and ceiling patterns reflect lively, pixelated textures to contrast with and balance the static walls. Photography by Chad Baumer Photography.

Albireo Energy joins the Con Edison Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency Market Partner Program

Building automation and energy services provider Albireo Energy, LLC (“Albireo Energy”) today announced that the company has been approved as a market partner with the Con Edison Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency Program. This program authorizes Albireo to provide building automation, electrical power monitoring systems, and energy services to Con Edison commercial and industrial customers.

This new designation allows Albireo Energy to serve a wider market of both commercial and industrial customers that are looking for the installation and implementation of energy efficiency equipment and services. Albireo can now list their skills, project experience and services in one of the industry’s top databases.

Through this program, Albireo Energy will be included in the Market Partner Network, which is made up of experienced energy efficiency contractors, distributors and other industry professionals who serve the Con Edison customer base in meeting their energy savings goals.

“Albireo Energy has a long history of improving energy efficiency in commercial buildings, and becoming a partner with Con Edison’s commercial and industrial energy efficiency program validates our comprehensive energy service capabilities,” saidPhil Bomrad, CEO of Albireo Energy. “We are excited to be an active member of the ConEd program as this partnership offers us a tremendous opportunity to network with, and provide solutions to our hundreds of customers in the ConEd territory.”

An additional advantage of this designation is the connection to Honest Buildings, a commercial real estate marketplace and bid management tool that empowers owners and developers to make smarter hiring decisions for design and construction services. Over $565 million in projects have resulted from the Honest Buildings Network, and this partnership allows Albireo Energy to apply for projects on the network.
