ARCHIBUS appoints John McGee as new president

ARCHIBUS, Inc., the global leader in real estate, infrastructure and facility management software, has appointed John McGee as its new president reporting to the CEO, Wise Cho.

Since joining ARCHIBUS in September 2017, as vice president of corporate development, McGee has been actively engaged in business areas including strategy formulation, evolving the company’s go-to-market approaches, working with the ARCHIBUS Business Partners and Solution Centers in the U.S. and Europe, advancing new product partnerships, as well as leading various activities aimed at further increasing the functionality and reach of the ARCHIBUS platform; and he has also represented the company at industry events.”

McGee brings extensive experience in leadership related to the built environment. Prior to his role as V.P. of Corporate Development at ARCHIBUS, he held executive roles in the facility management, building controls and sustainability sectors at Global 500 Company ABB, Fortune 500 Company EMCOR Facilities Services, and at Johnson Controls, where he held a series of senior management positions in Ireland, Germany, and the United States. His strength is a unique skillset of strategic, technical, operational and commercial expertise, which he has applied to initiatives in the U.S. and internationally. At Johnson Controls, his responsibilities included managing North American facility management operations to bolster sales & marketing, strengthen project management & delivery processes, streamline business standards and upgrade quality and customer satisfaction levels to foster achievement of the division’s strategic growth goals.

McGee served as Chairman of the Board of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA). At IFMA, McGee used his skillset to address strategy formulation, organizational transitions, balance scorecard deployment, sustainability, partnering initiatives, and global relationships.
