eGlobalTech (eGT), a leading provider in management, security and IT consulting services for the federal government, has expanded its work with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Information Security (OIS) to include Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) and Information Sharing support. eGT received the initial $106 million task order in 2014, against its GSA Schedule 70 contract, doing program management for OIS, which is still ongoing.

“eGT is dedicated to supporting CISOs and their organizations across the Federal Government; and now we have the opportunity to make significant contributions to a security program which protects not only HHS IT assets, but also the Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Protected Health Information (PHI) of millions of Americans”, said Ms. Cuello, eGT’s Director of Information Assurance and Cyber Security.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is the U.S. government’s principal agency for protecting the health of all Americans and providing essential human services, especially for those who are least able to help themselves.
