These statistics are given by firm type, size, region of headquarters, growth rate, client base, and other relevant factors, so firm leaders and managers can make comparisons between their firm and others.  

For example, according to the report bonuses are back! Over the past decade, bonus costs climbed reaching a high of 8 percent in 2016. After dropping to 4.5 percent in 2017, the median bonus cost reached 7.3 percent of total costs this year.
