Wink! Sonrisa lounge collection from KI brings a casual solution with a modest footprint to settings for working, socializing or chilling

Responding to the new ways of working and learning, Sonrisa seating, bench and ottoman from KI bring a casual and comfortable solution for traditional lounge settings. They are also a perfect response for transitional and third spaces that require smaller-scale seating. Hybrid working means people gather in small groups for project and work discussions when they are in the office or an academic setting, rather than just reserving a conference room.

A contract furniture manufacturer with deep roots in service to the education community, KI’s design team suggests that Sonrisa, the Spanish word for smile, can be specified individually or with other lounge seating solutions. Sonrisa offers:

• Comfort while maintaining a modest footprint;
• Contrasting fabric and thread options to provide design flexibility;
• Base options to provide opportunity for easy mobility with all casters or stationary elegance with black poly feet and adjustable glides; and complementary seating and occasional tables.

The construction meets facilities needs with:

• 3.75″-thick high-resilience polyurethane foam seat and upholstery straps on seat frame providing a high level of comfort;
• An interior frame constructed of 3/4″-thick hardwood plywood;
• Field-replaceable parts for enhanced sustainability;
• 400-pound weight rating; and a lifetime structural warranty.

The Sonrisa Collection offers:

Lounge seating including lounge chairs and loveseats, with contrasting or matching fabric options for the seat, base, and outside back. Models available with or without arms. Handcrafted double-stitch detail on all models available in 16 thread colors. 

Benches and ottomans provide convenient and casual seating with a small-scale footprint for transitional areas, with the option to contrast the seat. 

Occasional tables include an end table and two sizes of coffee tables, all featuring rounded silhouettes and a stylish hairpin-inspired frame base with optional glides. Choose from a variety of colors and finishes for the table’s surface, edge, and base.

Lounge chairs and loveseats are also available with lean-back rollers to support multifunctional spaces and ease of reconfiguration.
