Momentum is known for prioritizing textiles that are durable and sustainable. The Yinka Ilori Collection is engineered to endure the demands of commercial use. Each textile promises beauty and functionality with exceptional abrasion resistance, bleach-cleanability, and easy maintenance, surpassing industry standards and providing peace of mind to facility managers (FMs), architects and designers.

Using eco-friendly materials and processes to create products that positively impact the environment and the industry, the coated textiles in the collection are printed on Momentum’s Silica, a material recognized for its longevity, durability and environmentally friendly production processes that reduce the use of water and energy. Similarly, the woven textiles are crafted domestically in the U.S. of rapidly renewable or post-consumer recycled materials. Compared to conventional solutions, Yinka Ilori x Momentum offers superior sustainability, ensuring that commercial spaces can be visually stunning, environmentally responsible, and designed to last.

The collection, also the Best of NeoCon Gold-Award winner for Wall Treatments, introduces three coordinating wallcoverings with the same liveliness. Ilori drew on his dual heritage for the inspiration for each design. The wallcovering also pioneers sustainability by being printed on PVC-Free substrate or Momentum’s groundbreaking new carbon-neutral vinyl substrate Circon™, which integrates bio-sourced, rapidly renewable materials into over 70% of its composition, including renewable wood-based feedstock and a proprietary bio-based backing. Yinka Ilori x Momentum showcases a commitment to artistic innovation, community-building, and environmental responsibility, aligning beauty with ecological consciousness.

Studies have demonstrated that Type II wallcoverings typically outlast other surface treatments by a factor of three to five times, resulting in significant labor and cost savings over a commercial environment’s lifespan. Availability on either PVC Free or Circon™ substrates aligns with the emphasis of environmental specification in the contract space, offering designers and architects a compelling option to create spaces that are not only visually striking but also environmentally conscious.
