Forbo Flooring announces that its Forbo Marmoleum sheet and tile products have achieved the Declare Living Building Challenge (LBC) Red List Free label. Declare is a transparency tool developed to support the Living Building Challenge Materials Petal Requirements, encouraging an economy for healthy building products that are non-toxic, transparent, and socially equitable. 
Forbo further supports full disclosure and product transparency by providing open access to Health Product Declarations (HPDs) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for its entire product offering. Forbo is involved with the HPD Collaborative as a member of its Manufacturers’ Advisory Panel (MAP), and will release third-party verified HPDs that meet more stringent reporting levels upon the launch of HPD version 2.0. Currently, HPD version 1 is first-party and is based on MSDS information. Forbo has also taken steps beyond the industry standard EPD to include USEtox measures of eco-toxicity and human toxicity impacts for each of its products.
