Kimberly-Clark Professional offering scholarships for coronavirus cleaning course

Kimberly-Clark Professional is offering scholarships to eligible cleaning professionals for ISSA’s Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) Fundamentals Online Course: Microbial Warrior Workshop.

This course teaches cleaning professionals to prepare for, respond to and recover from biohazards in the workplace. Participants will learn infection and contamination control measures for infectious disease outbreak situations such as SARS-CoV-2/Covid-19.

Scholarships are available for the first 10,000 eligible cleaning professionals, with priority placement for building service contractors who qualify as a small business. Additionally, the program has a goal to award 50% of scholarships to females. Up to five scholarships may be granted to a single enterprise; each cleaning professional must apply individually. Additionally, scholarship recipients may elect to participate as mentees in the ISSA Hygieia Network Mentoring Program with special mentor participation from Kimberly-Clark Professional employees.
