Oct. 22-25, Cologne, Germany: Experience the workspaces of tomorrow at ORGATEC 2024

The many aspects of future-oriented office building management will be front and center at ORGATEC 2024, taking place October 22-25 in Cologne (Köln), Germany. In conjunction with rehub and CADEMI, international trade fair ORGATEC 2024 will bring expert speakers and a unique office showcase to the stage, packed with inspiration and innovations developed by professionals for professionals.

#XOfficeXperience

The #OfficeXperience Focus Area in Hall 8 will showcase a wide range of the industry’s creative and sustainable office building management solutions.

For the #OfficeXperience Focus Area, companies from various sectors are collaborating to put together an authentic showcase on the office of the future, the like of which has never been seen before. Through guided tours, get-togethers, workshops, and presentations, visitors will be able to gain first-hand experience of ready-to-implement, but often as yet unfamiliar, approaches to office building management.

This new community aims to decipher trendsetting key topics beyond sector-specific boundaries and show businesses how to leverage them profitably in their facilities today. A variety of companies and institutions have joined forces to organize the Focus Area. Interactive, innovative and inspiring

The Focus Area divides into two zones: the Xperience Area and the Connect Area. The innovations on display will be integrated into “solution islands” that build on each other to form a continuous visitor journey.

The Xperience Area will revolve around current productivity, profitability, regulations, and flexibility challenges. Which strategies increase productivity in offices? How can data analysis and IoT solutions improve energy efficiency and the use of resources? What role do sustainable construction projects play in the profitability of office buildings? How can office spaces be designed to adapt to rapidly changing work styles and requirements?

In an interactive tour and guided visits, trade fair attendees will experience the exhibitors’ future-proof and all-encompassing answers to these questions, taking in different perspectives, from employees to operators. Professionals and decision-makers in facility management, real estate management, planning, consulting, (interior) architecture, innovation management, and human resources (HR) will benefit from this knowledge.

As an open networking zone, the Connect Area is the ideal complement. Besides providing a place to hold meetings and engage in face-to-face discussions, the central platform offers an inspiring program of workshops, panel discussions and talks.

Wherever Whenever – Work Culture Festival

The Wherever Whenever – Work Culture Festival will celebrate its inaugural edition as part of ORGATEC 2024. Organized by the German Interior Business Association (IBA), the festival will present a high-caliber program featuring over 100 international speakers across six stages. Presentations from experts in architecture, design, work culture, HR, and trend research will focus on the groundbreaking trends and transformations that modern work environments are undergoing. The festival’s title, Wherever Whenever, encapsulates the idea that individuals can work productively anywhere, any time.

Accompanying the impressive line-up of speakers, exhibition spaces hosted by IBA members, workshop areas, and special art and design spaces will provide diverse inspiration. To complete the festival experience, food trucks will provide refreshments, and live music will mark the end of the third day of the trade fair. With a line-up of exciting keynotes, stimulating panel discussions, interactive workshops, and exhibitions, the Work Culture Festival is set to be one of the highlights at ORGATEC 2024.
