Inspired by a clamp used in woodworking, the clean connection between the two-quarter inch thick rounded steel plates of the Ellis post and T leg meld into the precisely cut solid wood top. No veneer or plastic laminate top could genuinely replicate such an aesthetic. Mantra Inspired Furniture’s core values are based on a foundation of solid wood and steel that allow creations such as the intersection of the steel Ellis leg with wood. The innovative use of steel and our solid wood design is made possible by CNC routers carefully driven by Amish craftsmen and women. The T Leg design is reminiscent of a stiletto heel powered by quarter-inch steel that softens the often-masculine corporate design found in today’s work environments.
